First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
First thing I see is the awesome banner!! Excellent work on that, Connor!
I never say this, but I really think that advertisement fits well. It serves up more animated, colorful ads, that fit perfectly with your site.
I think you chose a great theme. The baby blue/ turquoise color fits in greatly, and I really like the little pokeball icons all along the forum index. It brightens the readers day and blends well with the Pokemon theme.
Overall, the appearance is totally astounding. I really love what you have done with the place, the entire site is just perfect, appearance wise.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
WOW! Is all I can say. Looking at those long descriptions in each and every board, I'm really impressed. You captivate the guest right away with those, as a guest myself, I think " Why is this so long, better read it " then get drawn in to register.
That said, the entire " Pokebords Community " category is all set, no arrangement problems or anything.
I also think the Pokemon Plaza is all in order, I especially like that WiFi area, allowing members to set up battles against one another.
The Pokemon gaming area also looks good, but one suggestion, I think you should dump the sub boards of " Spin off Games ". The board itself only has 4 threads, and doesn't need all those different boards for each console. Just leave the area as spin off games, and that's it.
Also, looking at your general chat area, I think that you need to condense things a bit there also. The community corner board has 9 topics in all, but has 5 subforums. You don't need all that. Just make the one board for community corner, and let people post graphics, creative writing, advertising, role play etc, all in one board. All of those extra subforums are just excessive and create clutter.
I also suggest you make forum games a sub forum of General Discussion. It doesn't need it's own board.
All in all, your layout is not bad. There is a lot of excessive boards and categories, which is my only concern. I suggested a few remedies to this, but a lot of repairing this needs to be based on your own common sense and thought

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
The board was founded about 10 days ago, and you've already got 2,000 posts and 90 members. That's really just mind blowing. 1000 posts per 5 days is really a new forum owners dream come true. Just keep advertising, and keep promoting, and keep up the exchanges, and you'll do well.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
Alright, you have 3 admins, which is really over doing it right now, and 2 moderators, which is alright.
Really, with 2,000 posts, you should have about 3 staff, 5 staff isn't terribly bad, but you need to stop hiring for now. On the plus side, it appears all of the staff is active. But remember, just because someone is a good moderator, doesn't mean they should be made Administrator in two days. You need to be careful with you give admin access too.
I took a point off, but just one. I really just think you're overdoing it with 5 staff so early on. Try to take it easy on hirings, don't pick anyone up for a while.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
You excel in this category. Each board description is extremely long and easy to follow, and very professional. Let me put it this way, for a board about Pokemon, your professionalism exceeds mine at times, and I run a serious political site

As for spelling, I do notice this tiny grammatical error in the Entertainment board:
Talk about video games, technology, movies, TV, and computers inside the forum section! Please follow the forum rules!
It just seems a little fractured; the sentence " Inside the forum section " just sounds off, and telling people to follow the rules in the description is sort of redundant, because people already know to follow the rules, so I suggest maybe trying something like this:
Talk about video games, technology, movies, TV, and computers in this section!
And that should do it.
