Okay, because this isn't Tech related, I posted this here. I'm Admin over at a Pokemon RPG called "Pokemon Meadow". The place has amazing stats, but lately it's really died down. I love the place and obviously don't want to see it die, so I'm looking for people's ideas about how to go about things.
Before you ask, I suppose I'd better explain the staff layout, because there are a lot of staff members and they're pretty important to how the site is run. The staff are mainly there to progress people's journeys and update their profiles. However, most are global moderators and I'm actually speaking to the other Admins about whether to restrict some of the powers of the lower mods to maybe just opening/editing topics in the profiles forum (which is where they usually use their powers) and leaving the Adv Mods to the 'global moderator' status.
So yes, in case you were wondering about the rankings:
X-Mods (X for 'Extras'): These guys can only update the 'Other RPG Areas' and 'RPG Extras'. It's kinda used as a training, test ground or 'first-step' kind of position for new Mods.
Mods: Can update all areas, including the X-Mod areas.
Adv Mods: Essentially, higher ranked Mods. They're expected to be on more often and to update more often than Mods. For the moment, there doesn't seem to be much difference between the Mods and Adv Mods, which I was discussing with some of the Admins.
So basically, what are your thoughts on the place. It's mainly been dying down because the staff members have become busy with school and such. However, it's gotten to the stage where only me and another Admin (not the Owner 😵) are the only ones updating. :/
Frankly, I'm happy to completely remove each and every Mod on there atm and start up another round of Mod applications, however I really can't do anything without the 'A-OK' from the Owner, who has also become busy with life.
Heh...
