What are your thoughts about this mobile game? You can capture Pokemon and train them in our world for free. I feel like it is kinda dangerous because you are required to travel to pick up items. These items could be located near your house and being will be wandering in ares they shouldn't be at. I tried it and I had to walk 10 minutes from my house to get an item. It is more for younger folks, but at the same time not safe for them either...

As a, now, ex beta tester, I will start off by saying that most of the negative critiques i have heard about the game, such as, which pokemon to leave at a gym, or the cost of leveling and getting candies to evolve, these really go away after playing the game for more than a week. Yes, at first it's a bit overwhelming, which is understandable. Even though its a pretty simplistic game as far as mechanics go, it gets you addicted like no other pokemon game before. Now, I will say that in beta they seemed to be pretty generous by giving coins daily and then you still have your gym bonus where you can receive a pretty fair share of stardust to power up pokemon, but we will all have to see what the first public release will look like to see how it handles with more than just a beta group playing and how the companies involved handle in app purchases. Which, I can see some potential for iap's but going off how past pokemon games have used IAP's i would say the game can be fully functional without them and if they add them it would be for special items or for the occasional player who just needs that extra help obtaining pokestop items. Sorry for the long rant here but I just got sick of seeing people trashing what I believe will be one of the most played pokemon games ever.

I just downloaded it yesterday and I am trying to get a feel for the game. Seems like it will be something that will actually get me up off my butt and get active. With my job I'm sitting between 11-14 hours a day so it's a very sedentary job. Hope this will actually get me active somewhat.
This app is insanely popular, at least where I live. Several of my coworkers have been playing it, and I've overheard random conversations about the app. I haven't played it yet though, even though I played the Pokemon games extensively a couple years ago.
I never got into Pokemon, even when I was younger. I have debated on installing this because it really does seem like a fun game, but then again, I know nothing about it. 
I'm waiting for someone to PokemonGo and drive and cause a giant accident though. 😛

The game is huge where I am. There's a park near my girlfriend's house that has 30-50 people in it every night now catching pokemon, where before, there would just be a few old people walking around.

I have no idea how many pokemon I've caught, since I release many of the duplicate pokemon to get them candies. My highest right now is a pidgeot around 700 called zephyr. The grind to get a gyarados and dragonite is REAL. LOL.
