THE PERFECT TV CHAT SHOW
Ever since I was young I have always wanted to have my own tv show, like most I feel that having that privilege to be known on tv would be a great honor, one of which comes to those that truly work hard for it.
So I have been pondering on some concepts for a while, and I wanted to see your own thoughts. after all, this is the brainstorming area after all.
Lets start with the basic's, depending on country, talk shows have different segments and time length. In the UK TV shows last 1 hour with three, 5 minute breaks, this means that there is at least 10 minutes to fill and most tv shows work like this:
Section 1
Intro, welcome guests, start introductions and start conversation.
Section 2
continued conversation, introduce new guests, play a game or activity.
Section 3
Finish talking with guests maybe have another new guest and talk for a bit more.
Section 4
Introduce a band or musical artist. then end with that guests performance.
This is the same for most shows apart from the BBC which has a solid hour show with no ads. In America it seems a little different, to me everything seems rushed, and what would be an hour for US is 20 mins for us in the UK.
I guess I hand over some of the reins to you. where would you start.
