Does anybody know of any well-established and popular admin blogs out there?

There are more than thousands of blogs based on "blogging tips" and what not, but what about blogs based on "forum tips"?

I'm already aware of all the blogs made by users here.

Just looking for the largest of the largest.

Heh, yeah. I searched all over Google and only found blogs that were related to system administraton, and not forum administration.

I'm sure there's some well-established blog that's dedicated to forum administration out there...

Thread cleaned up. The next person to insult any user or his blog in this thread will receive an official board warning. I don't want to see arguments here.

Not looking for webmaster blogs. An 'administrator' is really associated with several different positions, but the type of admin in this specific scenario that I'm looking for is below:

Admin = people who manage forum communities.

Why are you searching for such a blog?

Why does it matter?

If you tell us why, then it would give us a better insight as to what you need.

General forum adminstration covers a lot.

Probably the best 'admin blog,' as you put it, on the internet.

Thanks.

That has no relation to theezy's question. He already knows what I'm looking for. He's just asking why I'm searching for it.

As for your post, is it not already clear? I'm looking for a blog that covers internet forums. I mean, I come here where the population is composed of people who own forums. What do you suppose I'm talking about when I say an "admin" blog?

Why is it an issue for you to answer the question?

I never stated it was an issue for me to answer the question. I was simply wondering why you wanted to know, when you could've actually maybe, y'know, contributed to the thread. Nobody else wanted to know why I'm searching for admin blogs, so why would you? Doesn't make sense at all, theezy.

Anyways, to answer your question, I am looking for an admin blog so I can follow up on one and to fill myself with more 'admin' knowledge. Need I say more?

Maybe you could tell me why people search for blogs.

http://www.managingcommunities.com/ is a good one, it's owned by Patrick O'Keefe who has also written a great book on the subject of managing forums - http://www.managingonlineforums.com/

Thanks Fergal, definitely what I was looking for! That's one awesome blog.

I've actually read a bit of Managing Online Forums by Patrick O'Keefe, but when I looked into his qualifications as a 'forum expert,' I was rather unimpressed by the forums he runs.
