I know that this may seem humorous to some, but in all seriousness, if you spam this topic I'll report the posts and negative rep you.
All right, what are your opinions of pornography? Soft porn is something that I'm not actually against. I think that it's the woman's personal choice. That, and Playboy models get paid a ton to do it. I also cannot figure for the life of me, how it is degrading to women. Like people don't know what a nude woman looks like?
Now regarding hardcore pornography, I'm dead set against it. I actually read a study in the Irish Times (don't make me pay to look up the Irish Times Archives for a reference please) that was conducted in the United States. It was a mock rape trial. The same trial was conducted twice with different juries. The first time, the jury consisted of men who did not watch porn, the second consisted of men who did. The differences in the verdicts were enormous. The first jury proposed a 15 year sentence (a mock trial, juries do not propose sentences) while the porn watchers were happy with just 2 years.
Rape is one of the most horrific crimes one can commit. How can one justify a two year sentence for something as serious?
That said, I do watch hardcore pornography myself. However recently I've been making a serious effort to cut it down. Despite not paying any money for it, by visiting said sites I'm funding the industry by unintentionally clicking on advertisements and other such methods. I haven't watched anything since the start of the month, and I intend to keep it that way.
