Portfolio Design Concept

I assume the width of the image will be about 1280px, if so, then it's in great proportion, but then the text would appear overwhelmingly large in comparison. I assume it will be fixed, not fluid, so on larger browsers, either the text will be really large, or the body will be really small.

As for the internal design, you've got a good balance of reds, which balances out the white and white space. It's simple, but I think when coded, and adding a bit of jQuery for the "Latest Work" part would really make it interactive and a plus.

Other than that, it looks professionally whipped up 🙂

Thanks for the feedback bro. It will be 1000px wide, but the background image/design you see will fade into the dark red background so that way for users with higher-resolutions on their computers will have no problems seeing a blocky background. haha

Yeah and I plan on adding some jQuery to that latest work on the front page for a slider and expander. Same with my Portfolio page. And for the fixed/fluid thing you mentioned...I am not sure yet. It has been awhile since I coded but most likely fixed. But I will work that out as I have never had any issues coding similar designs with text.
