Never sold a forum before so not exactly sure what to state here in terms of statistics etc. Buyer would possess vBulletin license, ownership of images etc.

46% of traffic is direct, 17.3% referral, 36.8% is through search engines. We rank fairly well for our keywords, and are within the top page for many queries. Other statistics are;
Visits: 8,134
Unique Visitors: 4,319
Pageviews: 55,370

Please note: We had problems with analytics are first so assume these values to be slightly higher.

Currently the forum has 20,966 posts, 2086 threads, and around 290 members. I'd say 200 of those users are legitimate, with the rest being post-exchange accounts and spam bots we haven't noticed. On average we get about 30 members online a day, however previously we've seen averages of 40-50. This isn't bad for a four month old forum.

Activity has dropped recently partially due to myself and my partner taking a break and therefore not making any improvements or advertising. A lot of our members seem to be out enjoying their holidays, spending time with family etc. The members are very friendly and a lot of them are really active posters.

Currently the forum is only making money through donations, subscriptions and PublicityClerks. The forum would require some financial investment.

I genuinely believe that the forum has potential so long as the management have the experiment and commitment to devote time and money to the site.

I know it's a new site and probably not worth a lot. Myself and my partner are disappointed with how it's progressed and we're simply looking into selling (we're not set on it yet). If you need more information, let us know.

Yes, but as I've never done this before I'll have to figure out how. xD

I'd also like to know that.

On average how many posts are made per day on the forum?

Is the older theme as shown here http://www.publicityclerks.com/user/det ... bsite=1243 still available?

Prior to August 5th we were getting 100, often 200+ posts on the forum per day. I will be honest and say that activity has dropped in recent weeks, but I'm sure once more things start happening (new staff, updates etc) and emails are sent out, activity will return to it's previous state. For what it's worth, I know a lot of members from another site and they were active posters.

The theme is still available, just disabled currently. It will be available for you to use, however (and this goes with the forum icons as well) I request you respect the original creators (IE. Don't claim they're your own work). 🙂

I think you have a great site and good active member base, compared to most GC forums out there, yours is doing pretty good imo. I know the hard work that you can put into such a forum as yours and how gruelling and mundane it sometimes can be like when things are moving as you had hoped. The summer time is the hardest time of the year that I have found. I would say 'don't give up yet' and 'give it more time' but that isn't my call.
I wish you all the best and hope with what ever your final decision is, will be right for you both. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words, but unfortunately we're pretty much set on selling the forum at this stage; it's caused unnecessary stress and, honestly, we went in at the deep end not really knowing what we were getting ourselves into.

We're just looking for a decent person to take over who can offer us a fair amount. We're not looking to make money or anything, just get back as much as we can.

If people require additional details or proof, please post here or PM me. Please note that you will get all accounts on other forums etc associated with the forum (for advertising), albeit I ask you change them to your own email address.

Double-post.

-- 23 Aug 2013, 20:43 --

Thought people would be interested in this information.

vB 5 Connect License (includes latest versions of vB 4).
The forum itself, obviously.
Domain and 8 months VPS hosting with 123-reg.com (both expire April 2014).
All the custom designs (forum icons, etc). All I ask is that you don't claim these are your own work.
The paid-for vBulletin themes from http://www.purevb.com .
All accounts registered to other forums for advertising purposes. I'll give you the email/password to each account but I request you change it to an email of your own.
Facebook/Twitter accounts, unless you plan to start a-fresh.
PublicityClerks account (has about $7 earnings thus far - not a lot, but a start).
Postloop account (has a few points remaining).

I can't PM you yet :/

-- 23 Aug 2013, 23:57 --

Add me on skype mpgh.plast

I don't do external communications; PM's only I'm afraid. 🙁

Well, nothing like $10. 😛

So far highest bid is $225.

-- 24 Aug 2013, 23:27 --

I'm going to leave this open for a few more days just in-case any more offers role in; I know the current bid is good however I've had plenty of interest so it makes sense for me not to make a decision too early.

For what it's worth, I genuinely believe Confab-It has huge potential provided the right person/partnership is behind the site. It'll require work, yes, but given the fact it's been very successful in it's first four months I can only imagine things will get better; we're currently beating a lot of sites in our niche for keyword rankings etc, which counts for something.

Good statistics/rankings coupled with 8 months of hosting/domain, a non-expiring VB 4/5 license and plenty of work already done to the site; pretty good start to a project if you ask me. 🙂

I also forgot to mention you'll receive the PureVB theme files that we purchased (you won't be able to download them from the members area after a year), as well as all the image files in-case you decide you want to make edits.

$225 IMO is a great offer for a newer forum with 300+ members and 21k posts. That pays for the vbulletin license almost.
