All forum software has them. You know where you either have to have a certain amount of words or characters per post for it to be posted. Do you have this featured turned on or off? and what is your recommended setting for it?

Off, however for genuine discussion it should be 5-10 words.
I have it off so that one can just post pictures or smiles in a post.

Minimum one character.

Although I can post blank posts.

How can you post blank posts? That sounds weird. Usually most softwares you get an error if you try to just post with a subject, or no subject at all. I know the mininum characters is 6000 (looked that up in the ACP once) and I honestly think that feature should be turned off, in my opinion. It's not very often that any one person exceeds the 6000 character mark, but I honestly don't think that feature is even needed.

Not really, well, if so, its quite a lot. I don't really mind long posts, and I doubt I will see lengthy posts.

I turn it off, whatever a member cares to post on my forum is their wish.

I hate this bloody feature. Makes it very annoying when I'm doing packages. I'll try and have the subject 'greetings' and it says there has to be more words than just that.

We got nothing like that and never will...sometimes I have fun conversations with really short posts, and roleplays like that too. On one chat we were chatting with just smileys the other day. It was fun XD

At my forum, the minimum to post, is 3 characters, the max is 60,000 characters. It is more than enough.

I'm talking replies, not topics.

And I'm admin. I've learned most of the tricks on ZB in my time as admin. And my time trying to troll trolls...

When playing forum games its annoying, as normally the posts only have about 2-3 digits.
If you only go to the counting ones yes lol.
