Post delay timer thingy

Hi all,

I was just wondering is there anyway I can prevent members on my forum posting messages one straight after another with like a timer delay so they cant post after sending one post to the forum for say 30 seconds ?

help please anyone

you need to edit the flod limit, itcab e found in

acp>> board settings

That will only restrict the time in between posts... There is no way to stop people posting in a topic twice in a row even after they have past the flood limit.

30seconds seems a bit too much to me id recommend 10-15 secs

ok on the acp i Have these options general display users & groups modules misc

I Cant find board settings can any one help me to find the flood delay any better please.

I had a look and i couldn't find it anywhere... I forgot there acp was different but i thought they would still have flood control.

there is a mod to stop that but as you're on a free host you can't install it. maybe you could ask them to do so
