Post Icons?

Do you guys have post icons on your forum?

I love post icons. They dress up the threads just a little bit, however I know many people, especially on newer softwares, disable them altogether. What do you guys do?

I think they can be good for organizing threads in a forum that isn't really open for member discussion completely.

For instance, if we used post icons here at Forum Promotion, they could replace our Prefixes in the Community Reviews forum. 🙂

I usually use them on alot of forums in order to draw extra attention to my thread! I dont see the need in disabling them, unless its a problem of over usage.

At the moment, I don't use Post Icons on my forum.

I honestly never thought about it as organizing threads. 😵 I always used post icons as some random feature that we have. :lol:

My forum has the default MyBB ones plus a few animated ones that I just added.

Yes, I use just the default Mybb post icons.

Not a fan of these myself. Seems like they aren't too useful most of the time. I don't usually change them or look at them. 😛
