Trying to use mint linux, but can't partition my external HD to work w/o when i install mint it formats drive/see's it as a full drive not split

Well since you are using windows,might I suggest installing it inside of windows. It is much easier that way.

Just start windows,pop in the cd,and click install inside windows.

Thats what I do for whoever wants to try linux. It makes it alot easier for them to try it and remove it .

Haha no problem 🙂. I too use maleware bytes it does great on getting those more mean problems out.

That was pointed to all the guys with known illegal downloading software with folders that have film titles in there and files labeled keygen with payed software on there... only a dumbass wouldn't know they aint illegally downloading.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but weren't they debating about an app located on the desktop being shown being illegal or not? That's hardly offtopic really, and it's not preventing people from showing off their desktops in the meantime. Seeing as this is also the "Computer and Internet" section, it seems discussion of apps would also be allowed... i'm just not seeing their chatter as being offtopic or out of line, it's actually more offtopic for you to talk about closing the topic as you aren't actually contributing to the topic at all :shrug:
