If you get an email saying "postcard" or anything like that from your friends, or someone, just trash it, because it's a virus that can destroy your computers H drive.

My parents got an email from someone saying that it was back. Not for sure how they found out.

Virusus are the most interesting part of a computer. You kill them then they reappear. They have more lives than cats. 😛

This happened a few years ago. I thought they got rid of it, but all of these a**hole haxers find a way to keep it up..

Use a email scanner.

Trend is a good virus protection software that has this feature built in.

Goodluck.

I kind of believe this, but at the same time I don't.
And yeah a lot of these emails are fake. For example, the Conficker scare. Did anything happen? No.. I don't think so. Were computers infected with it? Yes. However, the virus/worm didn't do anything. Now.. I am not saying it won't do something in the future, but the emails that were sent out to warn people were over dramatic.

People do this just to get a reaction.

Some people have lists of tens of thousands of email addresses. They then can do whatever they want and some people like scaring people for no reason. It only takes a few minutes to write an email and they can send it to thousands and people not used to computers would be terrified and panic.

Don't forget the people they send it to then send it to other people who will then send it to even more people and so on.

Yeah I just got an e-mail talking about a new virus. I only open e-mails I know anyway.
