The pageviews are the total times that an ad will show up, regardless of the amount of clicks, or the length of time it is there. With the clickthroughs, the ad will stay there till the entire amount of clicks are used up, meaning if you have ordered 50 clicks, and it takes you 3 months to get all 50 clicks, that would be a better bargain than getting the needed pageviews to get that total amount of clicks.

Sorry to be cynical, no offense, but what if it takes months to get that many clicks - based on the traffic coming to your posts?

Also in all honesty based on what I have seen previously, clicks generated on FP, generally increase or decrease in my signature, based on the graphic, and who owns it. I have seen one ad in rotation get tons of pageviews and get few clicks, while another one get the same amount of pageviews but more clicks, because of how the graphic is presented for the site and how well the user who owns the forum or site is known.

Still open for advertising. 🙂
