Postloop.com anyone tried it?

I can appreciate your viewpoint. However my experience with Postloop did not involve any of the things you talked about. So I have to assume that we probably went on different paths in our Postloop experiences.

I went through the evaluation process in just one sitting. Maybe I was lucky. Maybe my style suited the editor's taste. Maybe the thousands of posts I had made in other forums made a difference. Maybe my stint at Constant-Content did leave a mark. Could be any or none of these factors.

I have been rated up and I have been rated down. Got a couple of 5s and a couple of 4s. Average rating just a tad below 4.5. So I suppose I am just an average poster, so to say.

I have also been praised by some forum owners and I have also been warned by some other forum owners but I have never been banned. Yet. So that makes me an average poster, I suppose.

Nobody is going to become rich overnight with Postloop. I am only averaging 10 usd per day. Small change. Good for a couple of burgers and a Coke, maybe. Still a couple of tenners here and there can add up.

I hope this gives a different view of what a person can experience with Postloop.

I suggest if someone is interested in postloop to go and try it and see is it good or not. We have a different exp with it but like I said its a good idea for a website and post exchange 🙂

Postloop is a great way to get your forum off to a rocket start, or even to earn money by posting. The problem is you have to keep on paying out for points. This costs a lot of money too keep paying out for points. And then if you take Postloop off your forum the members you thought were active will show you how much the activity will drop.

Exactly, Then you get stuck in a "Loop" that is very hard to break out of. Postloop is great and does what it says on the tin very well but you have to be very careful to not over do it.

You have to use Promotion Forums/Postloop in moderation or all your activity will become fake, Make sure you put creating a real community the top of your list and use Postloop on the side.

I don't think that, in the first place, Postloop is meant to be used for promotion. It's just a tool to populate a forum so that visitors would come by and, hopefully, stay on. Anyone who thinks that Postloop is a promotion tool is not thinking clearly. There's no way to grow a forum just by showering it with money.

Well then you have the right idea, The majority of postloop users (from what I have seen) tend to get stuck in the everlasting loop of using it for creating their community instead of a sideline for helping real activity grow. Then their community is only made up of postloopers, take away that and their community is dead. I have seen that happen sooo many times since postloop came around, that is a big part of why postloop has become a sucsess.

People just want the easy option.

Yes, I have met forum owners who think that they can grow a forum by just throwing money at it. A forum, from what I have seen of successful ones, is definitely not something that can be grown with just money.

It's a really good site to get some posters on your site and if you don't own a site you can transfer your points into money. It's a really good system and I'm on there all the time =)
