Postwhores is an off topic, general discussion forum geared primarily toward people in their twenties and thirties. We have a fun sense of humor and laid back attitude. We're a brand new forum with a small but awesome group of posters, most of whom check in on a daily basis. Registration is required to view the forum, but registering only takes a second. Come join us!

Interesting site 🙂 Good luck with it.

URL can be changed to some other. As the word is little bad.

We broke off from another forum (ooh, e-drama), so that's accounted for a lot of the activity. We have gotten a few new members here and there, though, and would love to have more.

Do you gravitate toward dark message board themes, or do you prefer light ones? Either way, you can get what you want on Postwhores Forum. There are a bunch of themes to choose from, so you can make the board look the way you like. Here are previews of some of the themes that have been added so far:

You might want to add something on the site for guests stating this, so they know if they randomly access your site. If I hadn't read this ad, I would have logged onto your forum and thought it was dead, and moved along. Most people wont take the time to scroll down and see your stats at the bottom if the boards look empty at first glance. Also, denying guests access kills any attempt at seo or getting good search engine spots for your forum.

Good Luck with the site. It seems interesting.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The dead site assumption is a good point. I've added a thread advising guests that they need to register for full access to the forum.

I'm inclined to keep the rest of the site locked down for privacy reasons. I know that's not the greatest marketing tool, but while increasing activity is important, I guess it's not our #1 priority.

I'm hoping there is an age restriction on this forum...or are some of your sections just jokes?

We do have an age restriction (21), mostly just because it's a site geared toward posters in their 20s/30s, not teenagers. Also, yes, some of our forum descriptions are jokes. We have a..."delightfully quirky" sense of humor on the forum. 😀

Very interested forum. If you want my 2 cents on it however, I don't like how you've set it up. The statistics are very impressive, but requiring users to register is very ridiculous. It's even more disappointing to find out that I cannot still even view the site until an admin activates me. So basically, I can't see ANYTHING until I firstly sign up, and then wait what could possibly be a long time until I get approved. The only reason I took the time to keep looking was because you said you had to register. Otherwise I would have showed up and left because there is no other way that I could tell it's an active, decent forum. It doesn't have a real domain (by real I mean "postwhores.com" or something without the subdomain), it doesn't have an icon, just some text for a logo, and it doesn't have a very original theme. Not to offend anybody here, just thought I'd let you know. Also, the title, Postwhores, is quite unattractive in itself. I quite frankly don't know why I even looked at this thread, because the word "whore" isn't very... erm, friendly.

Just wanted to give you my 2 cents on the sites. Good luck with it!
