Unfortunately, the 'target="_blank"' and alt is not available in BBCode, but yes, you can still get the link and image, as dD has provided.

Though I think a lot of forums open links in a new window anyway, which defeats the purpose of target="_blank".

You can still alter the forum's BBCode (if its your forum) to include HTML sections of it. However, most forums don't allow, or don't have that.

Yeah, but why bother, especially when the most commonly used HTML features are already in BBCode?
