I was spraying the front bushes this morning because we have white flies that are destroying them and came across a praying mantis. It was on the sidewalk so I picked it up to put it by the back deck where I wouldn't be spraying. I didn't know those things had pincers on them!! OW. That thing dug in hard and I was telling it that I was trying to save it and to stop being mean. I hope it appreciates me later on 😀
I was always curious with those pincers when you are dealing with a much larger version of the Mantis. Eventually heard that the larger ones can defend them prety well against birds and other small animals that feed on bugs.
