Very nice appearance. I am impressed from the get-go by the professionalism and clarity of your forum. It seems that the design is very nice and it does not look like some childish forums you see nowadays. There seems to be a lot going on, but I'll cover that in layout. Overall, for your forum appearance, I'm impressed. You have picked a forum skin that suits the content you will be talking about. A general chat forum always needs to look attractive to gain active and users that are willing to contribute excellent content.
Layout
Your forum names and descriptions are great. You made them all sounds nice and professional and that is normally my first complaint when reviewing. Nicely done. It seems you have a lot going on. Now with the Top Posters, Recent Topics, and Recent Status Updates on your right sidebar, are you going for a social network integrated forum? It's what it seems like, but to be honest on second thought it seems nice. I actually am impressed with the integration you have going on. You're making your forum seem like a social network and I think that will draw a lot of users. Especially being a general discussion forum. Nicely done my friend.
First Impressions and Interest
Obviously my first impression is grand. I love everything about your forum. Your forums and categories all go together nicely. You seem very organized and you must have thought and written ideas down before actually creating the forum. My interest in general discussion forums isn't too high nowadays so I probably would not be keen on joining. However, for people looking for a nice forum to go and post on, I think they found their place. Keep up the good work.
Content
You are still fairly new so just keep posting good content. You have a lot of forums so do not worry about over-filling them with content. It will make your forums seem fuller. Don't be afraid to start conversation. Sometimes you can do that by just disagreeing with something you really don't. Just try and boost conversation and get those forums filled with replies.

Excellent little forum. Keep up the great work and make sure to try your hardest and you will succeed. There is not much of a market for those kind of forums so you must be diligent to keep adding new content to suffice your forumers.
