Well with only 8 or 9 games to go in the Premier League now the title race and relegation battles are really starting to heat up.

Who do you think will win the Premier League and what three teams to you think will be playing there football in the Championship next year?
 
Well, I think this season has been significantly more exciting than last season at both ends of the table.

Although Manchester United aren't in terribly great form at the moment, nor are Villa. Assuming United win that Match it should give them a massive confidence boost as well as put them 4 points clear with a game in hand. If they don't make it though, I'd like to think Chelsea will get to it before Liverpool - there's a certain arrogance and un-sportsmanship about Liverpool I don't like.

At the other end of the table, I'd say Pompey are likely to stay in the Premier League with West Brom, Middlesbrough and Blackburn being relegated. Newcastle will have an extremely big confidence boost now Shearer is looking after them till the end of the season, and with his Knowledge of the club and players I'm sure he'll do what's required to keep them up in the 8 games they have left.
 
I still think Manchester United will win the title and the current bottom 3 will be relegated.
 
To be honest and as much as it kills me to say this I think it is between Liverpool and United now, Liverpool have a very tough game against Fulham next and they really need the 3 points.

At the minute I think West Brom have no chance of surviving but I think Middlesborough could just make the escape. There will be a great buzz around Newcastle now because Shearer is a god to them. He might not have the experience to coach a club like Newcastle but players will respect him and he will have a massive influence on a lot of players.

I'm pretty sure Middlesborough have a difficult run in so I can't see them staying up :|
 
In there next 8 games 2 are against the top four but Middlesborough are a team who you don't know what to expect from them at times. Did you think they would beat Liverpool 2 - 0?

I also said that Middlesborough could just make the escape. The table is very tight and as the Premier League has already proved this season anything can happen.

A Liverpool with no Torres and Gerrard who Liverpool rely on tbf.
 
Did Liverpool not win Manchester United at home without Gerrard and Torres?

EDIT: Gerrard also played around 70 minutes against Middlesborough.
 
Honestly I'm still hoping Chelsea puts up a good fight, but the Championship will be Liverpool against Manchester United.
 
Can't really see Chelsea catching up now unless Man United and Liverpool make huge slip ups.
 
You never know. If anything I'll root for Liverpool. I hate Man U with a passion....yes you heard me Fowler.

arsenal will win next year though -😉-
 
Arsenal won't win next season. I can see Newcastle going down as they are just not good enough really to survive.
 
Arsenal can win if they make some good signings. Maybe another top stirker and midfielder, there midfield is already brilliant.
