So then with this debt of £300bn, who will be the first big club to fall into the admin trap?. Liverpool are being tipped after American owners George Gillett and George Hicks owe almost £240m, but also owe alot more in money they borrowed. Roman Abramovic they say owes £640m, Manchester United i'm not aware of the figure but i know are heavily in debt thanks to the Glazers, they owe a whopping amount according to reports, United only make cash from sponcors these days. Arsenal are still very much in debt mainly from their move from Highbury to The Emirates. One team is goin to fall big time sooner or later from this, personally i think it will be Chelsea as if Abramovic leaves the club then that £640m will be their debt and not Roman Abramovic's. Personally i'm surprised that Abramovic has lasted this long at Chelsea, would of thought he would of found a new toy to play with by now.

I'm just very happy that my club have the best American owner out the lot. A Chairman who lets his manager do his job without getting in his way, and using his brain when it comes to money, meaning in situations like this we are well in the black instead of the red.

I dont think this will effect manchester city will it?

But yes, its getting out of hand now isnt it

I hope its Manchester united that go under first -lol- (Sorry fowler!), but then again they have always been flukey sods, so it wont be them.

It could affect Man City in the long run, Robinho is earning £80k per week plus £5k per goal he scores as a bonus. So if they do go on this shopping spree then it could hamper them big time, they now have this tag as 'The richest club in the world' so their wanna go out and prove this either in January or the Summer.

I hope and it probably will effect Liverpool the most be the 'credit crunch' is effecting the American Owners really bad.

Everton have the most perfect chairman but he doesn't have the thing we need, money. He is a supporter of the club and is local, always let Moyes do what he wants and gave him as much time as he wants but hasn't got the cash for us to compete against the sky 4.

I think it will be either Chelsea, Man United or Liverppol who will get hit more as they have Russian and american owners, respectively.

I think Arsenal will be fine -8)-
