Love the forum! I was thinking that a older version of phpbb would be fun to use. 🙂
 
It's not actually an older version of phpBB. It just looks like it, and the copyright is somewhat of a joke. I have an eclectic sense of humor, I guess. XD

I have altered the appearance of the site so that it does not destroy your eyesight quite so badly. I also added the Text and Tutorial sections to the site. 🙂

EDIT: I also changed the default volume of the music that plays on the index page so that it hopefully will not shatter all glass within a ten mile radius anymore.
 
I made a post about kindness just now. I'm not sure if anybody is interested in reading it because it's mostly my personal thoughts, but there is plenty of other content to enjoy. 🙂
 
I am glad I was able to make this whole episode easier to bear for you. As for the question in regards to the six you asked to vote for you, You didn't nor were able to force anyone to vote for you. You might have asked them directly but they all had the capacity to say no or vote for the other guy in spite of your request. No one should be getting upset that six people you asked to vote for you freely chose to comply with your request and quite possibly turn the tide of the poll into your favor. None of them had too nor did anyone who voted in the poll had to make the choice they made.
 
Thank you for that, Bluezone. I do not view asking people to vote for my site as wrong either because most of the people I asked have some attachment to the site, either as friends of mine who frequently laugh at my content or direct participants in our community. It also says something that they care enough about me, and thus what I produce, to take the time to vote for me even if they are generally not involved in Forum Promotion much. However, some may disagree, and that's why I asked.

I didn't make this site to be universally loved or to wow everyone, though. I did it because I want a place to post things that are important to me, things that can help other people, and things that are important or amusing to my friends. The support that I'm getting just makes it even more worth it. Thanks so much!
 
I wouldn't be a fan of it if it was made to appeal to everyone. The thing about being authentic is you just aren't going to be capable of appealing to everyone but the ones who do find it appealing will do so because they find the genuine you appealing and that is what counts in the end. As I would say, I rather be loved for who I am then liked for what I am not.
 
I would love it if you could visit my page! I know that most of the content is somewhat obscure, but I really do think that a lot of it is humorous. If nothing else, come for the '90s nostalgia. :3

I am referring to a new article that hasn't been mentioned here in case anyone is wondering where all this came from.

I am sorry that you haven't been feeling well and I hope you can get well soon. I can only imagine how tough it must be to work in the field of education on top of whatever other burdens you have going in but I am sure you can pull through it because you are a fighter. It might seem like a constant flurry of ups and downs that often feels like more downs then ups but that is the mark of a fighter and I am sure you will ultimately pull through it all if you don't give up. Just remember if you ever want someone to talk to about anything that might be on your mind then don't hesitate to send me a message. I know life is tough and the burdens one bears might be heavy but it is the duty and desire of a good friend to do whatever they can to lighten the burden.

Don't worry about not putting out a lot of updates to the site because if you need to rest and through doing so means not putting out many updates as that's alright. I sure I along with others will miss not getting to see the great articles you have planned but I much rather see you take care of yourself and if that means taking a break from writing then I much rather see you do that then stress yourself out under the impression you owe someone an article or update to the site.
 
I changed the font on the site to something a bit more suitable! :3
 
While I have slowed down a bit, I am still trying to add new content fairly often. :3
 
Sorry to hear life has been rough lately for you. Just keep in mind the tough times can't last forever so keep your head up and eventually these tough times shall pass. If anything, they should leave you with plenty of topics to write about when it's over. I much rather have you resting after a busy day with looking for work and all that entails if that is what you need after a busy day then to feel concerned about not updating the site. 🙂

Well I would take it as a positive that you couldn't find five things that are wrong with your life. That has to count for something, right?

Also I would say your writing is fine and I am sure you do well enough with video games as I am sure you wouldn't have played them for this long if you were decent at them. Not to mention, I hardly say your intellect is something I would describe as dull and with it I am sure your future is not nearly as dull either. You might be going through a tough time but like all tough times these things will eventually pass. Keep your head up and this will pass in no time at all. 🙂
