My photo printer (Kodak ESP C310) absolutely refuses to print anything in black and white. Whenever I try to print a page with just black text, it ends up choppy (the words are faded). If I print a photo, it comes out perfectly. Am I just not supposed to use a photo printer to print black text, or is there something I can do to fix it?
The amount of released stress indicated in this picture is glorious.
As to your question, it seems to be a common problem with Kodak printers from a quick search that I did. So aside from removing the black ink cartridge and reinstalling it. There isn't much you can do.
There was a comment that I read that mentioned making sure you are using Kodak cartridges.
Also, does your printer have the option to do a head cleaning? This could solve it as well.
