Private mode

Also called Incognito mode. Do you use it often when browsing sites & forums?
I can see the security aspect of Private mode but I have many sites I visit with auto log-in. If I only had a few sites, I may consider it.
Now, checking out a site to see if it's good or not, then I will take the time to go into Private mode.
What do you prefer?

I'll use it quickly when checking things out on my site for a guest mode experience, but I don't use it too often for anything else.

This is what I use it for most. Or logging into a test account quickly to try something. Granted, I use it less and less as I have mostly replaced it by adding more browsers to my PC.

At times I have tried to use it to avoid changing my ad settings with Google and IDK how well that works. The perfect example is this new Police officer sex scandal and when I saw all the memes and went "wtf is happening", I also went "maybe I don't want the ads this search will get me" and used a private tab to read the story lol.

I do the same, I have several browsers I choose from, but occasionally I just want a quick check, so I'll flip into private and do it that way 🙂

Not really, I have test accounts and or I use to do things to my site but not other sites

I wouldn't say I use private mode too often, I think the last time I used it was when we were having an issue activating my daughter's new sim card and I was advised to go incognito mode and take that route to try and activate it by the company. Other than that I may use private mode to check things on my forums to ensure that permissions are set right and to also ensure certain addons are set right as well.
