There are no restrictions on who is eligible to bid. 😉I don't thinks that admins should be bidding on this as they can bid just to jack the price up.

Sponsor grants more than just access to the VIP Forum. Admins already have access to all forums on FP, even without being Sponsor. I do understand where you are coming from, but I don't think I've seen any Staff be exempt from being able to partake in auctions. Not wanting to rude about it, my main point about admins (not retired ones) not being able to bid is because they would have access to every forum (including VIP ones). Heck as a global moderator for another forum I don't even enter any contests that is being ran (And I haven't even asked if staff were allowed to enter).
Another case in point - In real world contests quite often certain groups are excluded from entering any contests.
Every forum is ran differently, and staff are told what they can and cannot participate in. It has always been here at Forum Promotion, that any staff regardless of what position they hold, have the ability to participate in anything they want, unless they have been told that they cannot. This includes auctions. If an auction (or contest) is held and it has special requirements to it, then staff might not be able to participate, only pending if the auction is held for any member that does NOT hold a staff position. Not wanting to rude about it, my main point about admins (not retired ones) not being able to bid is because they would have access to every forum (including VIP ones).
