So what is it ? I am pro GamerGate, and I wrote a few articles about why I am for it but Ill keep it short here:
-Removal of corrupt journalist
-Gamers are dead articles
They said we are dead but we respawned so yeah... what side are you on?
Harassing people is not ok, doxxing people is not ok, making people lose jobs because of a jok is not ok.
There are two sides to each coin, like on gamergate the shootings and threats. Which I am totally against and those people are not the representatives of the whole movement. There is actually a price and reward set by gg to catch some of the person who wanted to put the bomb for Anitas speech.
Also I hope you know that gamergate is not against women and has done some good things to help women in the industry.
I hope you don't get the wrong opinion about GG, its a small majority that claims to be GG that threats women.

I'm not all that familiar with the whole controversy, but I have read a little bit about it. Here are my thoughts:
1. I don't think it's possible to be a corrupt blogger. A blog is just a website where people post stuff. Treating it like a real newspaper is taking things a bit too seriously, I think.
2. A lot of this shows how hateful places like Twitter are in general, I think. The best way to deal with the threats, etc, posted on websites like that is to stop using Twitter. I know some people will inevitably say "I shouldn't have to be afraid to use twitter," but trust me, as a non-twitter user myself, I think I can live without it. 🙂 There are better places (such as forums) which are moderated, and don't have such a "wild west" mentality. If you use twitter, you either need to be prepared to lay under the radar, or have thick skin, regardless of who you are. You don't have to be a woman to be bashed on twitter. Try being a democrat or a republican, for instance. People should just stop using twitter. 😛
