problem with recaptcha...

I have a phpBB 3.0.9 version and a problem with a spambots. I know that 3.0.9 have a recaptcha allready installed but mine does not work. It does not show a picture on a registration form. I updated Public and private key but it did not work. It also say on the recaptcha site that I should insert a code to my forum code but I cant find a place they want e to put it.

Can some one help me 🙁

I use peoplesign on the phpbb.com website now because it's easier for my members. I have the occasionally human spammers but never spambots. I use to have recaptcha and it's still set-up on my ACP.
Under General tab in the ACP, you should see Board configuration, then click on Spambot countermeasures
Choose recaptcha from the dropdown and hit submit. Go back to Spambot countermeasures and make sure now that recaptcha is the one showing and then click configure, put in your keys and hit submit.

This is what I did but id does not work. I did everything like you said but the recaptcha picture does not show of on registration page :shrug:

Is your forum templates/style up to date? If you still have prosilver installed, try viewing the registration page in Prosilver and if Recaptcha shows then it is a template issue with the default template.

Ok, so i downloaded the peoplesign and I instaled and It looks like its working Is displaying on ACP and I set it up and submited it but when I look at the registration page there is still no picture?!?!?!

Now I start thinking maybe its some problem with the template? Maybe a code is wrong or something...
Actually I have exactly the sae problem with Ultimate points MOD. I can see it on ACP panel and I know its working but I cant see it on the forum with my 1thank green template...

Maybe I dont copy the right files...Could someone walk me through the instalation of peoplesign step by step keeping in mind I am a huge dumba** 🙂

It does looks like its a proble with the template cos in prosilver all MODs works great! 🙁

Start a topic on phpbb.com and title it something like this, "Spam Countermeasure don't show up in registration"

Let them know that you've tried several and it does not appear. But emphasize the recaptcha since it comes with the core product. They might send you to the peoplesign help section since it does not come with the core. Plus, whatever problem you are having, it has nothing to do with the actual spam application.

What version is your style made for? Open /styles/*style_name*/style.cfg and see what version is says it is.

I don't think it makes much of a difference, but check and see if there is a 3.0.9 version of your theme.

Since you have phpBB, I highly recommend the Q&A and if you have time to install mods, Sortables Captcha.

I've noticed that when I submit peoplesign or recaptcha I have no picture and following note:

"To prevent automated registrations the board requires you to enter a confirmation code. The code is displayed in the image you should see below. If you are visually impaired or cannot otherwise read this code please contact the %sBoard Administrator%s."

The wierd thing is that

" %sBoard Administrator%s " should be a link to my email but is not.

It is working perfectly fine with other templates...

Do you guys think its some kind of mistake in code ?
