How professional is your forum? How professional are you on your forum? Are you more professional on your forum than others? Do you feel its a good thing to be professional or a bad thing?

I'm not terribly bothered about professionalism on my forum, I try and keep professional to an extent, but I'm not really serious about keeping very professional.

All of the forums I run are hobby forums, so there's not a whole lot of professionalism going on. For announcements and contests, sure, but otherwise I try to be myself.

My forum...A forum about zombie survival...Yeah, real professional. 😛

I try to be as professional as possible, but the staff started giving out extremely large post counts 🙁 I clamped down on it anyway.

I remain as professional as possible, especially if I am dealing with clients/customers/business partners.

I think professionalism is a joke on most forums. Treating your members fair and being unbiased during conflicts is whats important.

Those are qualities that are considered to be professional.

Well yeah but I mean you go on some forums and the admins/staff are so uptight and regimented because they strive to be as professional as possible. Im sure most people would rather have an admin or staff that can keep order in the forums while not being prim and proper at all times.

I use my "staffly" grammar all the time, but I do that everywhere. Lol. Aside from that, not much, as far as I know.

Depends on the forum honestly. A forum like Blue Humor requires non at all, it would actually be frowned upon heh. A forum like FP? Well, i've only ever seen the admins here make pretty good posts (aside from when they joke around, which adds to the community spirit anyway).

A good admin should be professional (Have good grammar, post quilt posts, etc) but should relax and act like a regular member (Joke around, post in forum games, etc) sometimes.
