See, that's where mine and your difference comes in. Not everyone views a forum exactly the same. I'm skimming past signatures, but when i read post, I'm a rep checking addict, where I like to see members' reputation points, and even read their mini-profiles more then their signatures.Yes people skim through posts for content, but at least the signature is in their path down.
