Appearance
The appearance is good but it could be better. There's not much difference between the usual prosilver theme. I like that it's simple and good-looking but you could always take a step from the norm! Plus there are plenty of styles out there that could better suit your forum. The images before each of the forum are just a little too big and could be better shaped and sized for better looks. I'd also recommend instead to just use icons instead of pics that way it can correlate well with the template. Just get creative with it! Finally, I think the header, specifically the title, should be edited; the site's name should go there, not the site's address!
Layout
The layout is satisfactory. Really not much to say here because it's related to a specific place and so organization can be a little more free. As I can see, though, the topics are pretty spread out at a glance so you got just the right amount of forums. Also a wide array of different things to talk about plus the usual off-topic and rules so you did a good job putting these together.
First Impressions and Interest
It wasn't too clear to me about what the forum was about until I looked through the forums and could infer it had something to do with Hawick. It surprised me that there were actually a lot of posts and topics about this and interested me to learn more about it. The standard blue prosilver theme though kinda ticked my interest down a notch to be honest but overall I had a pretty good first impression of the forum. I would also wonder where this forum would go if it were categorized (like our forums) and so the only place I could think of was Miscellaneous. You do have a unique niche and can really project above the other forums similar to yours (that is, in a city-related sense).
Content
The content is really good and thorough. There's a fair amount of length to each topic in the on-topic areas and really interesting to read. It's looking really good for a forum that has only been up for about a month. There's a great amount of quantity of topics and posts combined with enough quality to make your forum stand out well. It has a lot of potential to grow given that the content keeps this way. Very good job.

This forum is definitely where it should be, but from 62 members I would suggest being able to find more active members in your forum so you can increase other numbers that improve the totality of your forum. It could be more clean and creative, so there's always a place to start! Good luck!
