I go a few words to say about Project Natal. Not buying it.
It looks cool and all, but I'm not going to pay 150 dollars just to get a free motion device. If it was about 70 dollars, I would buy it. But 150 dollars is just ridiculous.
Only way i'd get it is if it's in a cheap bundle with the new 360 slim, and it actually has more games shown like Star Wars otherwise it just doesn't seem worth it for me. Thats prob cause i don't have a 360 anyway though...
Saw this last year. Looks pretty cool, especially the interactive thing. Very clever as you can draw something on a piece of paper, give it to the person inside the tv screen and they will know what you have drawn. Some crazy stuff.
How is it like the Wii? last time I checked the Wii is still using a controller. With Kinect you are the controller. Not in any way the same as the Wii. I guess the motion censor but other than that is in no way same as Wii.
Now if you where to say the PS3/Wii is the same that would be a true statement.
Well of course @death180 of course they will include similiar games. However last time I checked Call Of Duty sucked on the Wii and is most sold on the 360 so you can imagine that 360 will over power this.
Kinect hasn't even started yet and everyones saying 'it'll be crap, just like the wii'..
For one, its a MASSIVELY improved version of what the Wii does, for another it has that much potential that it'll be integrated into games brilliantly, even the likes of REAL games (Adventure/ThirdPerson/FPS/etc) not just dancing/fitness/etc.
Driving and fighting games already look so much better with Kinect.
I have played call of duty on the wii.. Nothing compared to a good ol mouse and keyboard.
How would you play an FPS if you didn't have a controler.. You would look like an idiot sitting there pretending you have a gun in your hand, pointing at a TV....
I just don't see the purpose in removing the controller.
It's not particularly about 'removing the controller'. It's about interactivity.
I whole-heartedly believe that all of you critics saying Kinect cannot be integrated into real games, including FPS, in a way that improves the gameplay are going to be proved wrong. It's just a waiting game.
I don't think i'll be getting it the hype was far to great and it didn't even turn out as good as expected.
It was pretty cool don't get me wrong but the price is just far too much. Saying that it would be fun having a few mates around playin army haha. Drunken times. Until the price drops i won't be getting it
I've never bothered getting a 360 and it'll be a cold freezing day before I get this (if I ever do get a 360). But really I like the way MS was doing this but the people playing games really looked silly.
