Promote my Debate Board?

Alright so promoting things like general/promotion/admin is pretty straightforward and every type of person is looking to join them.

I run a Debate/Discussion and looking for true, active members to bring up great points and what not. Where do I find them? Where should I be active? Or types of Contests to implement on my board?

The funny thing is I just joined there from viewing this post. Not much you have to do different then other sites, it's all pretty much the same thing, but I think opening debates on other forums, if allowed etc etc, and then maybe at the end of it all, add in, if you would like to have a peaceful debate like this about similar subjects or something else visit .. such such ..

Thanks lol, I didn't do them all, I think only 2, and I think master added one, but any articles I add, I will make sure to provide credit where do, and to provide substantially good articles too lol.

Personally I don't like the orange coloured theme you are using on ArgueHQ and feel that it is not congruent with a debate type forum. It might be just me, but I honestly find it off putting. Getting a different theme might increase the proportion of visitors who join your site.

The orange with the gray seems "dull" whereas I'd expect discussion to be heated up and vibrant. I reckon a clean blue or green would suit it better.

I like the idea of red 😀 Possibly a darker shade so it's easy on the eyes yet semi-infuriating


Can anyone list me some MODs that would be must-have on a debate board? Or any other ideas?

Okay after seeing a active debate forum(Debate Place) I see three problems.

One your theme isn't really shamwow. I would suggest getting a custom theme or choose a more professional theme.

Two Your Names for the sections is kind of dull. Spice it up a bit.

Three You need better descriptions. Try making a 2-3 description.
