I heard someone say somewhere...
"hire a forum promoter! They help a lot, if you find a good one!"
I have never met one...
Any one know where I can get one? 😉

haha
I'm not trying to search for someone to do the job!
I'm saying...
I don't ever see any... And don't know where to find one!

They just promote your site for you, it's for lazy webmasters who can't do it themselves 😛.

Ya,
I promote a lot..
But it could be nice to have someone else help you promote.
My Co-Admin doesn't help... So it's only me!
What ever... Just wondered if they really existed... haha

Well, 90% of the member base here is promoting their own forum, so may not have such luck finding one here.

Your actual members are the ones who can help. Make a topic, and have some sigs, banners, affiliate buttons posted, they can use to go out and affiliate with forums they are on, or where the forum link in their sig while they post on other forums.

Oooh, is this a game! I said that XD.

I guess it would help if I told a little more....

A promoter is someone that you can hire for the job of running around sites, blogs, twitter, forums, and all of that great stuff, posting your link and telling people about your forum. A lot of people don't come out and say "Hey, I'm a Promoter. Hire Me." so you really don't know if someone is a promoter or not. I know a few promoters on the site, you just have to look in the job center to find one.

I think people have told you what a promoter does but usually if a forum does have promoters they will be lucky if the promoter actually goes around promoting for them.

I really don't see the point. You as the webmaster/administrator should be the one responsible for promoting your forum. It doesn't have to be a formal 'job'.

While I do agree with this, it still is nice having other people take some of the load off you.

But I'm the main person who brings traffic to my forum, so I know it's a hassle and I wouldn't want to force a member into it without giving anything in return.
