Promoting a controversial/unpopular forum

Okay I recently begun a forum that I may say may be a little controversial...it's a trolling/griefer forum that's started up and gotten a few members (5 not including me)...

The problem is that it is hard to advertise this kind of forum when most sites and other forums do not want trolls and griefers.

Can anyone suggest a way to help promote mine or for other people controversial forums...

By the way, your forum will or any others advertised will not be getting trolled by me or anyone on my forum ....

Maybe some of the *chans, even though they don't approve of forums at all... there's really no other place that I've seen mass amounts of trolls, though, so good luck.

LOL i decided this was a bad idea and chose to make a different forum...you can close the post if you want or could continue discussing to help those with controversial forums in general

In general, to promote a controversial the best way is pretty simple - be controversial.

If you're forum is about trolling, going to a FP site saying 'Please come a join my site thank you' is just, well, stupid.

Take a look at controversial groups in the media - BNP, PETA, Animal rights, etc. look at what they do - controversial speaches, controversial adverts, controversial actions.

Obviously I'm not saying you should go dig up someones grandmother (what one group of animal rights protesters did), but on the level of your genre, do something controversial!

erm back on topic lol. just go on sites which have advertising sections and post your forum! Affiliating aswell just do as much as you can 🙂

wowwwww, just go to the messageboards for yahoo on ANY SINGLE STOCK and you will find slews hordes and bunches of trolls. on any single board for the stockmarkets anywhere you will find your audience. getting them to signup however is another problem all together. that is for sure where the masses of trolls, complainers, griefers...whatever you call em. eesh, goodluck with that forum lol
all they do is start fights and contradict anything anyone says, you will have your hands full, but probably a million horrible posts in a hurry if you get just a few...hmmm you might wanna think about sticking with that idea, something like that could really draw in tons of hits.
