Let's face it; while it's easiest to promote to those who are already in your niche, you can't go on doing that forever. Advertising outside of your niche can be very challenging, considering that users may not be familiar with forums, or even the niche itself if they happen to be newcomers.

What are some creative ways that you can make your advertising interesting and compelling to those who are outside of your niche? 🙂

Well I keep using the word free advertising on other platforms. And everyone needs free advertising no matter what niche they are in or wherever you promote it. I had few newbies who had no clue what the packages system is and so on.

This is very interesting. It is true that eventually you will need to promote outside your niche. For methods, I think it depends on your niche. If you own a promotion forum, you may want to help members start their own forum by providing free resources such as hosting or free domains. This way, you can bring in members who are not webmasters and you can get them to stay active on your forum while you support them.

I think I am going to start promoting on niche forums/websites/blogs that relate to my niche. For example, buying banner ads, posting a link in my signature, etc...

I think this is a great idea. I believe that it's mutually beneficial when you become active in a forum that is outside of your niche. When you are helpful and active in another forum I believe people are naturally drawn to you and what you're into and ultimately you will gain traffic by simply leaving a link in your profile and/or signature (when it is allowed of course).
