I have no problem promoting my educational sites like the one where I teach architectural drafting. I get several hundred a day. What I’m really having trouble with is even getting 10 or 20 to the Christian message boards. There are some out there that are just plumb overrun with visitors and members but for the past three years or so, I’ve only been able to coax a trickle in to even visit. Any ideas? I'm at my wits end and have run outta ideas...

It's new and unique, but perhaps a lot of Christians are not on forums, try promoting everywhere, signature link in your DP signature, v7n, TAZ and much more big boards.

Maybe put up a flyer in your local church? ***If permitted***

Empty statement. Christian Forums is the 22 largest forum found on Big Boards: http://www.christianforums.com/ They have 266,302. I'm sure there are plenty of Christians on forums 😉

Good idea. I would have any problem posting it as the pastor. I was thinking of a local ad in the paper too but that is only local.

I agree with Lee. The best way to get people into the forums is real-world advertising. Advertise at your own local church, and maybe later, you could hopefully get the word of mouth to spread across other Christian communities and such. Good luck.

If you are the pastor I'm sure you could work the site easily into your church 😀

Why not merge the two forums into one and focus all your efforts on one of them? Your forum will have a much better chance of success if you are focused on it and dedicated to it.

I would do that, but these are actually two separate ministries. One is a general fellowship where all Christians, no matter what the denomination, can come and fellowship at and the other is an apologetic's board. They wouldn't merge very well. Good idea though. Thanks...
