Promoting web games

Hi,
I have created a web game, but wanted to know how to promote it.
After already trying a lot of websites to submit the game, it still needs a lot of work to become notorious enough.
What are you tricks or ideas to promote software/websites/games?

You can use the Promotion Directory to promote your game. I think it is also a good idea to get people to review your games and post reviews on their websites so there is a lot of information about your game on the web. You could also try to form partnerships with gaming communities to promote your game.
