I have a basic template up for now but I can't find a good template. Hopefully I can get a few members to join and post and then some of the forums will get some posts in them.
Umm.. Looking at your board it's basically a copy of FP. You have changed a few forum names around, but all of your services are the same, boards, everything. Why not make something original?
I just noticed that but good to see you have quite a decent template up. Change your forum names around a bit because they are way too similar to FP's, if not exactly the same.
That is a big mistake there Tayne, expecting members to start off the posts is a bad thing to do, as most of the time they don't. I agree with Sbfc on this, i think you should of worked on your forum a bit more before opening, as the first week since opening is normally one of the busiest for you, but you'll be spending most of that time still building the forum, so when it is all finished, less hype for your forum which means less activity. Your forum style looks okay, but not brilliant, and is lacking a banner.
One other thing is the Motto, "Promotion Central, Promotion at its best", I seem to recognise that last part from somewhere 😉
Mike and sbfc are somewhat correct. If you don't have any threads to discuss in your forum, then why would members bother joining and posting; even considering that there's not even anything to post on. Overall, it's a really nice forum with a great template and discussion forums. One question- are those two blocks at the top-left of your forum a banner?
Are you sure you're ready to do this, considering your current backlog here at FP in the exchange central. May discredit your ability to manage a promotion forum.
