Promotion Curve

First Impressions
[note]========== BEGIN - First Impressions ==========[/note]
The screen on my laptop is a decent size, when I went on Promotion Curve I could see down to the "Promotion Center" forum, all of the forums were active and had been posted in today which was good to see. With what I could see, I was very impressed. The theme looked very nice and neat and I loved the colors that it featured. I think that the logo and favicon could do with a change because it reminds me of the old Supromote quite a lot, it may do this for some visitors from FP too. However, since then Supromote has changed it's logo and isn't really running anymore. The image was also free to use, so although I think it'd be better if you change it up a bit, it doesn't matter too much.

Design Quality

The theme really blew me away, it looks neat without being too boring and all of the colors go well together. There are no real eyesores although I think that you need to fix the alignment issue between forums in different categories. It makes it look very untidy. I'm a really big fan of the sidebar thing that you've got going on there too. Other than that, I don't have anything else to say about the design quality. To me, it's almost perfect.

Site Statistics
[note]========== BEGIN - Site Statistics ==========[/note]
The fact that a lot of your forums have not been posted in for a while will really push people away and prevent them from joining. Visitors will want to see most, if not all forums active. They don't want to see some forums that have been posted in within the last two days and then the rest that haven't been posted in for weeks. I think that you need to get this sorted and you need to start posting in these forums yourself to kick-start discussions. You also need to get members to concentrate on the webmaster/promotion forums a lot more because 1164 of the 3250 total posts you have are in the off-topic forums. Not very impressive and very off putting.

Poor
Staff Professionalism
[note]========== BEGIN - Staff Professionalism ==========[/note]
When I looked through some of the staff announcements within the "News & Announcement" section I was not impressed. Many of the threads were informal and poorly written with obvious mistakes. The thread titled "Bandwidth Exceeded" was one that I thought was particularly poor. The punctuation, grammatical errors and short length was not very professional at all. I urge you to write more than two lines for an announcement, also you should run your announcements through an online spell and grammar checker to ensure that your posts look professional.

Originality
[note]========== BEGIN - Originality ==========[/note]
Sadly, Promotion Curve is another promotion forum that is virtually a clone of Forum Promotion. You have the same services that Forum Promotion offers and the active members mainly from Forum Promotion. Why would you join a promotion forum to advertise to the same audience and get the same copycat services? You need to think of some original ideas of your own, as hard as it may be. Also, going out into some of the forums that you don't know of yet and attracting members from wherever you can. If members of Forum Promotion realize that you're attracting members that haven't yet accessed FP at all, they'll want to join so that they can advertise to a wider audience.[note]========== END - Originality ==========[/note]

Site Structure
[note]========== BEGIN - Site Structure ==========[/note]
Oh look, another site structure that has no originality at all. The same order, the same kind of names and no real twist. The amount of promotion forums that I have seen with this kind of layout is phenomenal, I could read out the structure and typical descriptions with such ease. You really need to try and think about ways that you can mix the site structure up a little bit. Maybe heading off to the brainstorming section or another section so that you can offer members FP Cash for helping you think of ways to mix it all up.

Grammar & Spelling
[note]========== BEGIN - Grammar & Spelling ==========[/note]
From the off, I could see a few errors. For instance, the very first forum, "News & Announcement" was missing the "s" on the end of "Announcement". There isn't one single announcement in there. The same goes for it's description, you're missing the "s". Also, it would be a lot better if you put "regarding the community." rather than "about the community.". For the "Feedback & Suggestions" forum I'd like to say that punctuation does exist, "Share concerns or questions and suggestions" that doesn't work. It sounds terrible. Instead, try "Share your concerns, questions and suggestions". It's the same as many other forums, I could go on all day about the mistakes that I see. Instead, run them all through a grammar and spellchecker and also, read them through yourself. Do they sound good or not? If they don't sound good, re-write them.

Final Remarks
Promotion Curve needs to be set apart from the rest of the promotion forums. This can be very hard to do, but you have to try. Take on board some of the suggestions that I have given you. Hopefully they will help.
