Actually, Politics can revolve around Lifestyle and debate. Think about the president. The president is revolved around our lifestyle because he supports the people of the country and he had to "Debate" against Romney to continue in office. So I feel politics would belong in this section. Correct me if I am wrong.
I can see why this could be done but I feel that "Technology and Gaming" could also remain together due to the fact that with out Technology, gaming wouldn't really work and technology also gets a good amount of money because of gaming so they both sort of benefit from each other.
I agree, tech and gaming probably should be split
Lifestyle seems more like a general thing than debate, but that's just my opinion!

Honestly there is no need to separate Tech and Gaming...in my opinion they kinda go hand in hand, consoles while fit under gaming is also a piece of technology and even a game it is also the result of someone using technology to create the game.
I must admit I like how it's laid out. It used to be just a bazillion forums/blogs/websites all under one thing and you had to look high and low for a promising looking site. Now with the categories, it makes looking up potential forums/sites much much easier... Want more places to promote your own stuff? advertising and services! More general discussion? general discussion and misc. I like that a lot! Makes searching for a site you might like a lot easier.
