i agree. with literally thousands of other promotion forums, new ones basically don't stand a chance. There's nothing on your site that makes me want to join, as all the features and services you offer are available elsewhere.

I've said it time and time again to promotion forum owners, and i'll say it to you too - your forum needs to be unique, and offer a service or a feature that hasn't yet been incorporated into any other promotion site.

if you don't do that, your site stands no chance at all, never mind the slim chance of survival it currently has.

Although it is very hard to find a unique service for a promotion forum now. Promotion forums offer so many services that there isn't anything left to be offered, or there is something but people just cant think what.

On P4F, we don't have any unique services but yet we have alot of members, we do have a service that is offered by a few other forums but not many that i am aware of, i promote my forum on 24 different promotion forums and i have only seen 2 or 3 of those with one of the services that we offer. Even when u do think of a unique service, people will just copy it anyway, so your no longer unique.

So, it's hard. But good luck.

It will probably take months before we can get even near matching Forum Promotion or EVEN Advertisement Center.
You're also right about the services, they're pretty much the same as other promotion forums, so I should try to create an exclusive service that is only avaible on our forum.
But we are growing quite quickly, we already have 6 members in just 2 days, lets hope it will hit 10 by tomorrow or Friday since Advertisement Forums (usually) become successful quickly.

I guess it would depend how you rank the fourm promotion sites, as to who is #1

Is it members? posts? services offered? posts per day? reputation? etc. etc.

Each way would probably get a different forum to the #1 spot, so there isn't ever a '#1 forum'

If you focus on the services you offer, keep up a good reputation then posts will soon follow on their own.

It's all about how you work it, I see a bright future if you can find a way to get activity.
