Promotion Stadium

268 users active in the past 24 hours (23 members, 1 of whom is invisible, and 245 guests).

Sounds decent/above average.

Our members have made a total of 24,105 posts in 3,245 threads.

Sounds decent/above average.

promotionstadium.com would probably be the best name for a forum named promotion stadium.

There's a sponsor program, ads, and other possible ways to get some cash. It may not be profitable, but it could help cover the bills.

The only thing that sets it down, is that the theme is forum promotion. There's quite a few forums on that. But everything else is good. I'd say $15-$30, depending on where you plan to sell it. 🙂

I put a lot more research/thought into my appraisal, but I'll clarify later. 😛

$15-$30???

The domain itself is probably worth $15-$30

promotionstadium.com? At 16 letters? I would have to disagree with that. I believe that you may possibly get a good deal on a promotion forum (like FP), but then you wouldn't maximize your profits for the forum itself. So, no matter where you sell, I would say it's worth $15-$30. Take into account, the number of similar forums. But you could always go higher than the appraisal price if you find someone who is extremely interested in this name. But otherwise, on a regular market, I'd say $15-$30.

Obviously any domain is only worth it's registration fee. But how it is developed is where most of the value comes from. I wouldn't raise the point of the number of letters, I mean, look at BusinessAdviceForum.com. It has 19 letters, but that's a dream domain. Great keywords, memorable and easy to spell and say. A bit of self-promotion but a good example ( 😛 ), my domain, WebMarketingTalk.com is also 16 letters, but even without personal bias, it's still memorable, easy to say and has the keywords. But even with the keywords, it's how it is developed and marketed which makes the difference.

However, I must agree that the domain (regardless of how many letters), it really only worth registration fee without development.

I've seen forums with smaller statistics than what Promotion Stadium has sell 10x the amount you specified. I've even sold forums with 3,000+ posts for over $100, so the fact your saying $30 for a forum with over 24,000 posts is not accurate.

I'd guarantee if this forum was up for sale, at DigitalPoint for example, it would fetch quite a lot of bids.

the domain itself is pretty good and the stats arent bad - hard to give it a value but definitely worth more than $30!

Around $30, ppm is low, so is ppmo. Domain is ok, but its long and most of the posts and currenty activity are either post exchanges or paid posters.

I don't think the domain is worth anymore than registration fee. There has been some development, but I don't think enough to swing the value of the domain. The database is very nice, with over 25,000 posts. A lot of the posts are paid posting and post exchanges, as Tindris pointed out. Also, I have seen many low quality posts on your forum in the past so I feel that affects the value. Even with all that being said, I feel you could get at least $50 just for the database.

Agree with this.

@Ace - http://www.woorank.com/en/www/promotionstadium.com < Look at that, it can help you improve the forum, it could be worth more with that.

I would have to agree here, I can't see you getting much more than $50 looking at some of the posts and now knowing most of them are from exchanges.
