Promotion through content creation

can you tell if it is possible to promote a forum through content creation only.. I want to post in my forum only (content development) would it help or not.....?

If I understood, you are going to post and make content on your own forum without advertising it on other forums and websites?

If that's what you are up to, I don't suggest you do that because I don't think you will have good SEO if you don't advertise your forum.

It's like you open shop in your street and then paint the windows in black, so people can't see what's inside and they will not enter for sure if they don't know what it is 🙂

"Natural SEO" is used by many website owners 🙂 especially new ones that do not really understand the promotion and marketing world. It isn't that bad but getting a higher rank on search engines will take a lot longer than actually getting off the site and advertising.

Anytime you can get thousands of posts on your site (or high quality blog style posts), that's a good thing. Don't worry so much about massive backlinking as other on page factors.

And, let members refer friends to become members rather than relying on SEO for traffic as it rarely results in members.
