I'm thinking of starting a phpbb forum hosted on pro phpbb, is there anything bad with this service?

I have heard awesome things from that host, however I have never used it so I cannot be for certain.

From my Google search however, it seems that it's pretty reliable.

In my opinion, all forums that are hosted on places like zetaboards, prophpbb, and hosting sites like that are severely limiting themselves for future development. Hosting providers who control the software usually don't provide as many options, or as much access to the core forum, that purchasing hosting and installing phpbb yourself does.

I think it's a much better investment to learn how to install phpbb on a hosting platform separate from a forum host.

My forum is currently being hosted with prophpBB and I have no problems with it so far.
