Hello,
I am working on a big project and it's starting to get tiring doing it on my own so I am going to be hiring one developer soon to help with the project

The only thing I'm very concerned and worried about is what if the developer (say i thought i could trust him/her) then they leak the software/code

How do I prevent this?

Thanks

I'm not exactly sure how you would "prevent" it, unfortunately. If you were interested in the legal system, you might be able to pull a lawsuit if they steal your code blatantly. That probably wouldn't be worth your time, though. Really the best thing you can do is hire someone trustworthy. Best of luck with your project. 🙂

I think you could copyright what you have but honestly it's probably not worth all the money to copyright stuff.

I agree with John above, only hire people you trust, same goes for pretty much every online position on the internet.

Yeah true have to be very careful with these stuff.

Could see on making a legal contract depending how much money that is.
