Protein powder?

I am trying to get bigger but even though I workout lots, I don't seem to be gaining muscle. I am thinking of buying protein powder but I am kind of scared because it just doesn't seem natural and it is also quite expensive. Does anyone ave experience with it?
 
If you're going for size, lift heavy enough weight to where you can do about 10-12 reps. Try to workout the same muscles 3-4 times per week, do not workout the same muscles on back to back days.

Too heavy weight will give strength gains but less size.
Too light weight will build endurance but not size.

Instead of using protein powder, just try and eat a little more meat, beans, etc. to get your protein naturally.
