PS3 does not work anymore after update?

I updated my system for my PS3.. Because I got a message about it after I did it everything quit working none of my games or movies anything 🙁

I would contact Sony Support. You might have found the PS version of the red ring of death. The first wave of red ring victims got a lot of extra stuff, so I would definitely report this to Sony. 🙂 Someone else probably knows more though... I'm just the type of guy who doesn't mess with my stuff to try to fix it myself in fear I'll mess it up worse... :lol:

If Sony sent a update that messed up my PS3 I am gonna tell them they better fix it if not send me a new PS3 for free.

When the red ring was on it's first wave, the victims of it got like 1 year's membership, a controller, I'm pretty sure a new headset. You might be like that dude.

I did the update and nothing happened to me. I would just call support like Matthew stated.
