One is not BETTER than the other.
It's a personal preference, and which titles you enjoy.

Lot's of my friends think the DS is a baby handheld because, nintendo only markets its games like cooking mama and stuff, on .T.V. and not all the amazing games, Like Zelda, Phantom Hourglass, etc
Finally, now the PSP has a good collection of games and is getting more! The system is an entertainment hub, and to fight for that part of this market, Nintendo has ofcourse put out the DSi.

I could go on for ages, but both handheld's are an amazing piece of kit. I play both on regular intervals.

PSP Graphics VS DS Graphics You decide

I have both tho So I dont really know I like the PSP Better tho.

Ofcourse, the PSP graphics are better. The DS has a 24mb chip I believe. Although, Gameplay > Graphics

Nintendo have real babyish games compared to Sony. That decides it right there.

~surprise~ Took the words right out of my mouth.

I was about to say PSP, because Nintendo is for little kiddies who like cartoons running around with mushrooms on their heads and small fat people with moustaches.

All that crap ~lol~

I have both, I like the DS for its Mario games, but I can spend more time playing my PSP with games like FIFA and PES. -happy-

It truly depends on what you like.

The DS has great games, especially when compared to the PSP's barely decent library, but the PSP has much more multimedia capabilities.

The ds has way more... variety. (LOL, Fanta)
But PSP Has more quality games, but they cost alot more.
If you can afford it and all it's games, I would get the PSP.
But If you want something that you can actually multiplayer with your friends at school or have many different games, Pick DS.

Would you recommend this for little kids?

The DS has games targeted to different audiences. Yes, there are some for kids, but there are also plenty of games for the teenager who thinks that pressing a button to cut off somebody's head makes them "mature." -_-

Just because PSP is targeted to one specific age group does not make it a better console. Frankly, I don't ever want to see Link beheading somebody in a mass of gore, despite the fact that he has a sword and I don't think playing that makes me mature.

Also, games with mature content are "not" mature games and playing them doesn't make you mature, just as watching a movie with mature content doesn't make you mature. It's just the content and they're only classified as that as they expect those "mature" (*cough*old*cough*) enough to play/watch them will understand that it's only content. -_-

Frankly, you're personal taste doesn't decide whether or not something is better than another. That is an opinion, not a fact. Here are the facts:
- NDS has sold approx 160 million units in comparison to the PSP's 53 million.
- NDS has released 653 titles, selling on average 163,000 units each. This is in comparision to the PSP's 396 titles, selling on average 133,000 each
- Every one of PSP's top 5 releases have been third party, non-exclusive titles, while each of NDS's has been first party exclusive titles.

In business terms, the more successful the business, (or in this case, the console) the better it is. From the stats, I guess DS takes the cake.

In terms of your own opinions.. heh.. it's up to you.

/Long post.

Are you SERIOUSLY trying to slate Mario

Fail = You

I like the Ds Because it has lots of games and the backwards compatability with all the GBA games so it has more replay value, I like the psp's multimedia functions but the ds is soon going to be the DSI that will have a lot of what the psp has got so... yeah. -razz-

PSP ofcourse.. me having a PSP... i know how much cool it is lol... i really i cant stay away from it

I would say yes, DS has older gamers. However They definitely aim more towards younger audience than older. The psp goes for older in most peoples eyes.

Well I'm 20 and I still like the ds better then the psp, even if the psp aims at older people they don't have very many good games, and the good ones don't have very good replay value. I find myself picking up the psp only when I have something new, while I pick up my ds alot even when I don't have something new.
