What might be some solution? I have heard different things on the comments on there.
Open Table is a plan to have tiny houses available for the homeless and I think a Methodist Church is running it:

I'm glad they're doing something about it. Wal-Mart lets the homeless sleep in the parking lots if they still have their car. I saw a lot of that in Florida. Schemes to help find employment and low cost housing provision would be a good start.

My church has a community garden with food available for the people in the area. We're a very small church of about 30 people so it's tough to raise money for big projects, but we have found that every little bit helps our neighbor.
I can see what you mean about how someone's greed can affect the living of others. I feel like something needs to be done about this.
