How early do you start putting out the holiday decorations?
(doesn't matter which holiday; all are included)

How early do you think is "too early"?

I think that if one puts out decorations out 2 months in advance that that is way too early. For something like Halloween or Christmas, I would say that a month early is more than than early enough.

I put them out on the 1st of November. I like putting them really early. I put them up at October one year.

I just put my Christmas tree up this past Monday. Normally I do put up my tree at least on Black Friday weekend, thereabouts. I don't think I've ever put my decorations out earlier than that.

I always put them up December 1st or 2nd depending on how busy I am.

I don't see the need to put them up any earlier 😛

Beginning of December is an good time, but then I haven't had an tree up in 7 or 8 years. In my house we never put Christmas things up

I don't do decorations much at all. When you're a single guy who lives in the middle of nowhere, it's not a big deal. 😛

I would say it depends on the holiday, Christmas usually starts just after Thanksgiving. Whereas Halloween decorations are generally okay to be put out a week or so before.

I put up my tree already, but as far as lights and other outside decorations I do that about a week before Christmas and take them down after the New Year.

I dont' like much putting christmas decoration.. but this year looking forward too... don't know why? 🙂 maybe 10 days earlier..

I put them up on December 1st as far as Christmas is concerned. But for most other festivals I celebrate, I put up the decorations a week or two before the day of feast.
